I'm Flávio Vilhais, a Portuguese professional Aesthetician/Facialist with around 20 years of experience. I began my career in the city of Lisbon where I worked and graduated as an Aesthetician. I moved to London in 2017. My desire to continue to develop my skills in the field of aesthetics also took me to Spain, where I worked for 10 years. My passion for skin health and beauty started when I was very young – I always like to mention my cousin because she was somewhat responsible for this passion. I still remember watching her doing her makeup, and getting her nails done... I spent hours and hours with her during the summer holidays. I am a member of BABTAC (British Association Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology) and IAC (International Association for Applied Corneotherapy).
My focus is on corrective skin treatments, using techniques capable of correcting the behavior of the skin and avoiding aggressive methods that could damage its structure. This is based on research and in-depth studies of the skin's structure and physiology, product ingredients and professional treatments, in addition to the effects of diet and nutrition on the skin. I have developed my own working methodology, and always adapt treatments and products used to the skin that presents on the day – my treatments are never the same, they are unique to each client. I have also developed a facial lifting massage which combines several massage techniques that aim to stimulate tissues and muscles, as well as revitalise and improve the skin's appearance. All treatments provided are completely personalised and adapted to each client's specific skin characteristics and needs.
