I am a GP for the NHS in North Dorset, with a special interest in joint injections. This interest led to the start of the aesthetic clinic over 11 years ago. I have always enjoyed art, and I think the symmetry and detail that this entails gives me a good perspective in achieving the very best results for my patients. I will not follow trends of inappropriate enhancement and I am honest and clear about what is achievable. I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of treatments we offer and with private GP appointments available I feel I can offer a very holistic approach to both physical and cosmetic needs. I work alongside our laser nurse who is BTEC laser qualified – together we offer confidentiality with generous appointment times in a truly beautiful countryside setting.
Injections are my specialty and I am very impressed with Profhilo treatments. Profhilo can work alone or in combination with either or both botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. It is extremely rewarding seeing the change in a patients' complexion over the months of treatment. It is taking the time and thought to discuss options that will give the very best results that I enjoy so much. The aim is always to get the skin to its optimum health, giving clarity, radiance and firmness.
Q: What do you love most about your work?
The variety. Meeting clients and really trying to understand their goal and then achieving it is extremely rewarding. We are fortunate at The Fontmell clinic to have so many treatment options, and working out the best treatment or combination of treatments is like being a skin detective and is very satisfying.
Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
To always listen carefully.
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
Walking, tennis, being creative with art and wood, snow skiing, family, reading and cycling.
